Dr. Ryan Wade
Software Engineer
Dr. Wade is a Psychiatrist who is Board-Certified in both General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. In addition to his role as Medical Director with Revive Telehealth, Dr. Wade holds administrative roles with multiple mental health organizations, and is currently the Director of Addiction Services at Silver Hill Hospital in Connecticut.
Dr. Wade completed his undergraduate education at Virginia Wesleyan College, where he received the Wesleyan Scholar Award, the school’s most prestigious scholarship, and graduated magna cum laude in only 3 years. Following this, he completed his medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) and matched with EVMS for his Psychiatry residency. While completing residency at EVMS, Dr. Wade was the co-creator and resident coordinator of a mental health volunteer clinic, served as Chief Resident, and received several awards, including research and teaching awards, as well as being inducted into Alpha-Omega-Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Wade then completed an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine where he developed an Addiction Education Seminar to support addiction education, advocacy for persons with substance use disorders, and to reduce stigma related to addiction. Dr. Wade remains engaged in education through faculty appointments at EVMS, Yale University School of Medicine, and City University of New York School of Medicine, in addition to serving as the collaborating physician for several Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.
